Notary Public Services:
The Wenham Town Clerk can notarize documents in the office.  Please do not sign documents in advance and have proper identification.  There is no charge to Wenham residents for this service. Donations to the Accord Food Pantry will kindly be accepted.

Pleasant Pond Passes:
Pleasant pond passes can be purchased by residents from Wenham and Hamilton.  
Proof of residency and car registration are necessary at the time of purchase.
Passes costs $25.00 for one car and $10.00 for additional cars.
The fee for our senior citizens is $10.00 for one car and no charge for additional cars.
Wenham Town Hall only accepts cash or checks made payable to the Town of Wenham.

Birth, Death and Marriage Records:
Certified copies of Birth, Death and Marriage Records are available for $5.00 each.

Street Listings:
The annual publication is mandated by Massachusetts State Law and lists all persons seventeen and older. 
Books are printed for the use of town officials, fire/police departments and any and all other town committees and boards.  
Copies are available to Wenham residents for $10.00 and $20.00 for non-residents.
Wenham Town Hall only accepts cash or checks made payable to the Town of Wenham.

Marriage Licenses:
To apply for a Massachusetts marriage license, both parties must complete the marriage intention forms together at any town or city hall.  There is a mandatory three day waiting period from the application date to the date the license is issued.  The license is then valid for 60 days and may be used to wed in any Massachusetts city or town.  The fee for this is $15.00.

Dog Licenses: 
All dogs, six months and older must be licensed as mandated by Massachusetts General Law.
A copy of the current rabies vaccine is required.
Neutered/Spayed dogs: $10.00, $15.00 for all others.
Licenses in Wenham are valid from January to December.  
Please note that after January 31, there is a $25 late fee applied to the fee.

Business Certificates:
Whenever you are conducting business under a name other than your own, and you are not a Corporation or other legal entity registered with the Secretary of the Commonwealth, you must obtain a "doing business as" (DBA) certificate from the Town Clerk in the Town where the business is located.  (MGL 110 Chapter 5)

The fee for a Business Certificate in Wenham is $20.00 and is valid for four years.

Raffle permits: 
Raffle permits are needed for any organization who intends to run a raffle.
Only non-profit organizations that have been in existence for at least two years qualifies for a raffle permit.
The permit costs $10.00 and is valid for one year.

White Goods/Electronic Recycling:
To dispose of these items , residents of Wenham pay a fee at the Clerk's office and brings reciept and items to the DPW garage on the first Saturday of the month from 8am-12pm.  More specific information and fees can be found on the DPW page.

Hunting and Fishing Licenses:
Hunting and Fishing licenses are no longer sold at the Town Clerk's office.  The Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (DFW) has announced that all licenses and permits will be obtained electronically from either a home computer, participating license vendor, of from a DFW office. Please see this website; http://www.mass.gov/eea/grants-and-tech-assistance/permitting-licensing/
